Summary
What we collect
Nothing. CHAK! has no account system, no sign-in, no analytics SDK, and no backend server. The developer never receives your name, email address, location, contacts, photos, or any other personal information. There is no way for us to identify you or to see how you play.
Local storage on your device
CHAK! saves your game progress using your device's local storage (a single browser localStorage key inside the app). This includes:
- your high score, best gem tier reached, and best chain reached;
- your sound and vibration settings;
- the state of a game in progress, so you can resume it after closing the app.
This data never leaves your device. It is not transmitted to Zero One, to any server, or to any third party. Only the app running on your own device can read it.
Advertising and third-party services
CHAK! shows a small banner ad at the bottom of the screen and may show a single optional rewarded video ad on the game-over screen, which you can choose to watch in exchange for a continue. Ads use Google AdMob. There are no interstitial ads or other ad placements. If a build of the app does not include these features, this section does not apply to that build.
When an ad is loaded or shown, Google AdMob (a service of Google LLC) may collect and process, on its own behalf:
- your advertising ID (Android Advertising ID / AD_ID);
- device information (device model, operating system version, language, screen size);
- an approximate location derived from your IP address;
- ad interaction data (impressions, clicks, and video completion).
Zero One does not receive this data directly and does not operate any server that stores it. This data is collected and processed by Google under Google's own privacy policy. Learn more about how Google's advertising partners use data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Resetting or opting out of ad personalization on Android
You can reset your advertising ID or limit ad personalization at any time, independent of this app:
- Open the Android Settings app.
- Go to Security & privacy (or Google) → Ads.
- Tap Delete advertising ID to reset/delete it, or use the option to opt out of ads personalization. Exact wording and menu location vary by Android version and manufacturer.
Turning this off does not stop ads from appearing, but it limits how they can be personalized to you.
Children
CHAK! is intended for a general audience aged 13 and older and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If a build of this app includes ads, ad requests are not configured to target children.
Data retention and deletion
Since all data lives only in your device's local storage, you are always in full control of it:
- Clear app data: On Android, go to Settings → Apps → CHAK! → Storage & cache → Clear storage. This immediately erases your saved progress.
- Uninstall the app: Uninstalling CHAK! removes all locally stored data along with the app.
Because Zero One has no server and stores nothing, there is no account or backup for us to delete on your behalf — deleting the local data on your device is the complete and final deletion.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at the same location with a revised effective date. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
